Walking by faith- John Wesley

 I have been trying to explain, oftymes entirely in vain, to folk that when people really have faith they ACT like what the say the believe is actually real. those who say they believe while acting like what the claim to be lieve is ot true have only decieved themselves. Such an one is a poser, a charlatan, a hearer of the WORD but not a doer "decieving themselves" And I am not the only one of this opinion. All the classic revivalists of histoury who knew GOD and saw awakenings and moves of GOD knew this.

As I was reading the Works of John Wesley I was gladdened by the following remarks of Brothre Wesley to the point that I thought everyone REALLY neadeth to read the following. Verily. Rock on my brethren.

The Sermons of John Wesley

SERMON ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN

The Difference Between Walking By Sight, And Walking By Faith

"We walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Cor. 5:7.

1. How short is this description of real Christians! And yet how exceeding full! It comprehends, it sums up, the whole experience of those that are truly such, from the time they are born of God till they remove into Abraham's bosom. For, who are the we that are here spoken of? All that are true Christian believers. I say Christian, not Jewish, believers. All that are not only servants, but children, of God. All that have "the Spirit of adoption, crying in their hearts, Abba, Father." All that have "the Spirit of God witnessing with their spirits, that they are the sons of God."

2. All these, and these alone, can say, "We walk by faith, and not by sight." But before we can possibly "walk by faith," we must live by faith, and not by sight. And to all real Christians our Lord saith, "Because I live, ye live also:" Ye live a life which the world, whether learned or unlearned, "know not of." "You that," like the world, "were dead in trespasses and sins, hath he quickened," and made alive; given you new senses, -- spiritual senses, -- "senses exercised to discern spiritual good and evil."

3. In order thoroughly to understand this important truth, it may be proper to consider the whole matter. All the children of men that are not born of God "walk by sight," having no higher principle. By sight, that is, by sense; a part being put for the whole; the sight for all the senses; the rather, because it is more noble and more extensive than any, or all the rest. There are but few objects which we can discern by the three inferior senses of taste, smell, and feeling; and none of these can take any cognizance of its object, unless it be brought into a direct contact with it. Hearing, it is true, has a larger sphere of action, and gives us some knowledge of things that are distant. But how small is that distance, suppose it were fifty or a hundred miles, compared to that between the earth and the sun! And what is even this in comparison of the distance of the sun and moon and the fixed stars! Yet the sight continually takes knowledge of objects even at this amazing distance.

4. By sight we take knowledge of the visible world, from the surface of the earth to the region of the fixed stars. But what is the world visible to us, but "a speck of creation," compared to the whole universe? to the invisible world? -- that part of the creation which we cannot see at all, by reason of its distance; in the place of which, through the imperfection of our senses, we are presented with an universal blank. 5. But beside these innumerable objects which we cannot see by reason of their distance, have we not sufficient ground to believe that there are innumerable others of too delicate a nature to be discerned by any of our senses? Do not all men of unprejudiced reason allow the same thing, (the small number of Materialists, or Atheists, I cannot term men of reason,) that there is an invisible world, naturally such, as well as a visible one? But which of our senses is fine enough to take the least knowledge of this? We can no more perceive any part of this by our sight, than by our feeling. Should we allow, with the ancient poet that,

Millions of spiritual creatures walk the earth
Unseen, both when we wake, and when we sleep;

should we allow, that the great Spirit, the Father of all, filleth both heaven and earth; yet is the finest of our senses utterly incapable of perceiving either Him or them.

6. All our external senses are evidently adapted to this external, visible world. They are designed to serve us only while we sojourn here, -- while we dwell in these houses of clay. They have nothing to do with the invisible world; they are not adapted to it. And they can take no more cognizance of the eternal, than of the invisible world; although we are as fully assured of the existence of this, as of anything in the present world. We cannot think death puts a period to our being. The body indeed returns to dust; but the soul, being of a nobler nature, is not affected thereby. There is, therefore, an eternal world, of what kind soever it be. But how shall we attain the knowledge of this? What will teach us to draw aside the veil "that hangs 'twixt mortal and immortal being?" We all know, "the vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us;" but we are not constrained to add, "Yet clouds, alas! and darkness rest upon it."

7. The most excellent of our senses, it is undeniably plain, can give us no assistance herein. And what can our boasted reason do? It is now universally allowed, Nihil est in intellectu quod non fuit prius in sensu: "Nothing is in the understanding, which was not first perceived by some of the senses." Consequently, the understanding, having here nothing to work upon, can afford us no help at all. So that, in spite of all the information we can gain, either from sense or reason, both the invisible and eternal world are unknown to all that "walk by sight."

8. But is there no help? Must they remain in total darkness concerning the invisible and the eternal world? We cannot affirm this: Even the Heathens did not all remain in total darkness concerning them. Some few rays of light have, in all ages and nations, gleamed through the shade. Some light they derived from various fountains touching the invisible world. "The heavens declared the glory of God," though not to their outward sight: "The firmament showed," to the eyes of their understanding, the existence of their Maker. From the creation they inferred the being of a Creator, powerful and wise, just and merciful. And hence they concluded, there must be an eternal world, a future state, to commence after the present; wherein the justice of God in punishing wicked men, and his mercy in rewarding the righteous, will be openly and undeniably displayed in the sight of all intelligent creatures.

9. We may likewise reasonably suppose, that some traces of knowledge, both with regard to the invisible and the eternal world, were delivered down from Noah and his children, both to their immediate and remote descendants. And however these were obscured or disguised by the addition of numberless fables,yet something of truth was still mingled with them, and these streaks of light prevented utter darkness. Add to this, that God never, in any age or nation, "left himself" quite "without a witness" in the hearts of men; but while he "gave them rain and fruitful seasons," imparted some imperfect knowledge of the Giver. "He is the true Light that" still, in some degree, "enlighteneth every man that cometh into the world."

10. But all these lights put together availed no farther than to produce a faint twilight. It gave them, even the most enlightened of them, no elegcos, no demonstration, no demonstrative conviction, either of the invisible or of the eternal world. Our philosophical poet justly terms Socrates, "The wisest of all moral men;" that is, of all that were not favoured with Divine Revelation. Yet what evidence had he of another world, when he addressed those that had condemned him to death? -- "And now, O ye judges, ye are going to live, and I am going to die. Which of these is best, God knows; but I suppose no man does." Alas! What a confession is this! Is this all the evidence that poor dying Socrates had either of an invisible or an eternal world? And yet even this is preferable to the light of the great and good Emperor Adrian. Remember, ye modern Heathens, and copy after his pathetic address to his parting soul. For fear I should puzzle you with Latin, I give it you in Prior's fine translation: --

Poor, little, pretty, fluttering thing,
Must we no longer live together?
And dost thou prune thy trembling wing,
To take the flight, thou know'st not whither?
Thy pleasing vein, thy humorous folly,
Lies all neglected, all forgot!
And pensive, wavering, melancholy,
Thou hop'st and fear'st, thou know'st not what.

11. "Thou know'st not what!" True, there was no knowledge of what was to be hoped or feared after death, till "the Sun of Righteousness" arose to dispel all their vain conjectures, and "brought life and immortality," that is, immortal life, "to light, through the Gospel." Then (and not till then, unless in some rare instances) God revealed, unveiled the invisible world. He then revealed himself to the children of men. "The Father revealed the Son" in their hearts; and the Son revealed the Father. He that of old time "commanded light to shine out of darkness shined in their hearts, and enlightened them with the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus Christ."

12. It is where sense can be of no farther use, that faith comes in to our help; it is the grand desideratum; it does what none of the senses can; no, not with all the helps that art hath invented. All our instruments, however improved by the skill and labour of so many succeeding ages, do not enable us to make the least discovery of these unknown regions. They barely serve the occasions for which they were formed in the present visible world.

13. How different is the case, how vast the pre-eminence, of them that "walk by faith!" God, having "opened the eyes of their understanding," pours divine light into their soul; whereby they are enabled to "see Him that is invisible," to see God and the things of God. What their "eye had not seen, nor their ear heard neither had it entered into their heart to conceive," God from time to time reveals to them, by the "unction of the Holy One, which teacheth them of all things." Having "entered into the holiest by the blood of Jesus," by that "new and living way," and being joined unto "the general assembly and church of the first-born, and unto God the Judge of all, and Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant," -- each of these can say, "I live not, but Christ liveth in me;" [Gal. 2:20] I now live that life which "is hid with Christ in God;" "and when Christ, who is my life, shall appear, then I shall likewise appear with him in glory."

14. They that live by faith, walk by faith. But what is implied in this? They regulate all their judgments concerning good and evil, not with reference to visible and temporal things, but to things invisible and eternal. They think visible things to be of small value, because they pass away like a dream; but, on the contrary, they account invisible things to be of high value, because they will never pass away. Whatever is invisible is eternal; the things that are not seen, do not perish. So the Apostle: "The things that are seen are temporal; but the things that are not seen are eternal." Therefore, they that "walk by faith" do not desire the "things which are seen;" neither are they the object of their pursuit. They "set their affections on things above, not on things on the earth." They seek only the things which are "where Jesus sitteth at the right hand of God." Because they know, "the things that are seen are temporal," passing away like a shadow, therefore they "look not at them;" they desire them not; they account them as nothing; but "they look at the things which are not seen, that are eternal," that never pass away. By these they form their judgment of all things. They judge them to be good or evil, as they promote or hinder their welfare, not in time, but in eternity. They weigh whatever occurs in this balance: "What influence has it on my eternal state?" They regulate all their tempers and passions, all their desires, joys, and fears, by this standard. They regulate all their thoughts and designs, all their words and actions, so as to prepare them for that invisible and eternal world to which they are shortly going. They do not dwell, but only sojourn here; not looking upon earth as their home, but only

Travelling through Immanuel's ground,
To fairer worlds on high.

15. Brethren, are you of this number, who are now here before God? Do you see "Him that is invisible?" Have you faith, living faith, the faith of a child? Can you say, "The life that I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me"? Do you "walk by faith?" Observe the question. I do not ask, whether you curse, or swear, or profane the Sabbath, or live in any outward sin. I do not ask, whether you do good, more or less; or attend all the ordinances of God. But, suppose you are blameless in all these respects, I ask, in the name of God, by what standard do you judge of the value of things? by the visible or the invisible world? Bring the matter to an issue in a single instance. Which do you judge best, -- that your son should be a pious cobbler, or a profane lord? Which appears to you most eligible, -- that your daughter should be a child of God, and walk on foot, or a child of the devil, and ride in a coach-and-six? When the question is concerning marrying your daughter, if you consider her body more than her soul, take knowledge of yourself: You are in the way to hell, and not to heaven; for you walk by sight, and not by faith. I do not ask, whether you live in any outward sin or neglect; but, do you seek in the general tenor of your life, "the things that are above," or the things that are below? Do you "set your affection on things above," or on "things of the earth?" If on the latter, you are as surely in the way of destruction, as a thief or a common drunkard. My dear friends, let every man, every woman among you, deal honestly with yourselves. Ask your own heart, "What am I seeking day by day? What am I desiring? What am I pursuing? earth or heaven? the things that are seen, or the things that are not seen?" What is your object, God or the world? As the Lord liveth, if the world is your object, still all your religion is vain.

16. See then, my dear brethren, that from this time, at least, ye choose the better part. Let your judgment of all the things round about you be according to the real value of things, with a reference to the invisible and eternal world. See that ye judge everything fit to be pursued or shunned, according to the influence it will have on your eternal state. See that your affections, your desire, your joy, your hope, be set, not on transient objects, not on things that fly as a shadow, that pass away like a dream; but on those that are incapable of change, that are incorruptible and fade not away; those that remain the same, when heaven and earth "flee away, and there is no place found for them." See that in all you think, speak, or do, the eye of your soul be single, fixed on "Him that is invisible," and "the glories that shall be revealed." Then shall "your whole body be full of light:" Your whole soul shall enjoy the light of God's countenance; and you shall continually see the light of the glorious love of God "in the face of Jesus Christ."

17. See, in particular, that all your "desire be unto him, and unto the remembrance of his name." Beware of "foolish and hurtful desires;" such as arise from any visible or temporal thing. All these St. John warns us of, under that general term "love of the world." [1 John 2:15] It is not so much to men of the world, as to the children of God, he gives that important direction: "Love not the world, neither the things of the world." Give no place to "the desire of the flesh," -- the gratification of the outward senses, whether of the taste, or any other. Give no place to "the desire of the eye," -- the internal sense, or imagination, -- by gratifying it, either by grand things, or beautiful, or uncommon. Give no place to "the pride of life," -- the desire of wealth, of pomp, or of the honour that cometh of men. St. John confirms this advice by a consideration parallel to that observation which St. Paul had made to the Corinthians: "For the world and the fashion of it passeth away." [1 John 2:16, 17] "The fashion of it" -- all worldly objects, business, pleasures, cares, whatever now attracts our regard or attention -- "passeth away," -- is in the very act of passing, and will return no more. Therefore desire none of these fleeting things, but that glory which "abideth for ever."

18. Observe well: This is religion, and this alone; this alone is true Christian religion; not this or that opinion, or system of opinions, be they ever so true, ever so scriptural. It is true, this is commonly called faith. But those who suppose it to be religion are given up to a strong delusion to believe a lie, and if they suppose it to be a sure passport to heaven are in the high road to hell. Observe well: Religion is not harmlessness; which a careful observer of mankind properly terms hellish harmlessness, as it sends thousands to the bottomless pit. It is not morality; excellent as that is, when it is built on a right foundation, -- loving faith; but when otherwise, it is of no value in the sight of God. It is not formality, -- the most exact observance of all the ordinances of God. This, too, unless it be built on the right foundation, is no more pleasing to God, than "the cutting off a dog's neck." No: Religion is no less than living in eternity, and walking in eternity; and hereby walking in the love of God and man, in lowliness, meekness, and resignation. This, and this alone, is that "life which is hid with Christ in God." He alone who experiences this "dwells in God, and God in him." This alone is setting the crown upon Christ's head, and doing his "will on earth as it is done in heaven."

19. It will easily be observed, that this is the very thing that men of the world call enthusiasm, -- a word just fit for their purpose, because no man can tell either the meaning or even the derivation of it. If it has any determinate sense, it means a species of religious madness. Hence, when you speak your experience, they immediately cry out, "Much religion hath made thee mad." And all that you experience, either of the invisible or of the eternal world, they suppose to be only the waking dreams of a heated imagination. It cannot be otherwise, when men born blind take upon them to reason concerning light and colours. They will readily pronounce those to be insane who affirm the existence of those things whereof they have no conception.

20. From all that has been said, it may be seen, with the utmost clearness, what is the nature of that fashionable thing called dissipation. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear! It is the very quintessence of Atheism; it is artificial, added to natural, ungodliness. It is the art of forgetting God, of being altogether "without God in the world;" the art of excluding him, if not out of the world he has created, yet out of the minds of all his intelligent creatures. It is a total studied inattention to the whole invisible and eternal world; more especially to death, the gate of eternity, and to the important consequences of death, -- heaven and hell!

21. This is the real nature of dissipation. And is it so harmless a thing as it is usually thought? It is one of the choicest instruments of destroying immortal spirits that was ever forged in the magazines of hell. It has been the means of plunging myriads of souls, that might have enjoyed the glory of God, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. It blots out all religion at one stroke, and levels man with the beasts that perish. All ye that fear God, flee from dissipation! Dread and abhor the very name of it! Labour to have God in all your thoughts, to have eternity ever in your eye! "Look" continually, "not at the things that are seen, but at the things which are not seen." Let your hearts be fixed there, where "Christ sitteth at the right hand of God!" that whensoever he calleth you, "an entrance may be ministered unto you abundantly into his everlasting kingdom!"

an Urgent message from David Wilkerson as of March 2009, upcoming end times disaster

First a forword by myself about Brothre Wilkerson and then the text  of His newest lettre to believers of a prediction of soon coming disastre as of March 2009

http://www.worldchallenge.org/coverletter/an_urgent_message

I don't know if any of you have cessationist theology, the belief that miracles and prophecies are things of the Olde Testament and Early Church but not for now. But though mmany false prphets are gone out in CHRIST's Name, there is one whose recourd is accurate and who is a genuine Man of GOD who hears from the LORD.

In 1973 David Wilkerson recieved a Prophetic vision from GOD about things that were going to happen in America back when these things were inconcievable. Every one of those things eithre came true or is coming true right now.
Latre in 2001 right befoure the Trade Towers came down GOD moved him and his church to spontaneous fasting and weeping and somlemnity fell ovre Tyme Square Church in NYC. GOD showed them then that something was about to his the city and told Bro David Wilkerson to get ready. The following is the online version of the hardcopy of his newslettre I recieve every 3 weeks wherein he sends a message to all Christians about something we should be ready for soon. I feel I shoud personally pass it on and If I were you I would not discount this out of hand.

5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. 6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. ....

8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. 9 The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn. 10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth;... 11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. 12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, 15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. 16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
JOEL 1

-Ryan James Carns

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE — EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires — such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting — including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written,

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11–12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment — just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. Lay in store a thirty-day supply of food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven — his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run…no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take — trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

God bless and keep you.

In Christ,
DAVID WILKERSON

Comment on the BIBLE's Testaments.

While reading the BIBLE this morning, I thought of something that sounded good. No Doubt GOD gave me it, and so I post it here.

A comment on the olde and New Testaments of the HOLY BIBLE.

The Olde Testament is like hard ground full of gold and silvre ore and nuggets. You have to dig hard to get them and refine them carefully when you do. The New Testament is like a pile of Jewels GOD scattered generously on top of that same ground containing the gold and silvre ore of the Olde Testament. They are easier to find and more lavishly spread yet some of these still need cutting and some even digging for. But let no man unwisely say the Olde can be dispensed with for the lavishness and abundance of the New because not only does the New Rest atop the Olde, without which it could not have stood or be founded, but if the jewels of the New are to be wourn by the Christian as the  ournimants of royalty and be set in the crowns sceptres of rule when CHRIST lets us reign with Him, they must be set in the refined gold and silvre of the Olde for only their do they fit and have significance and sit in their proper sensible place.

My dreams have been strange of late.  Again I dreamed one night I was driving a 68 black Charger with some red lettering on it and another night I thing I dreamt I was driving the General Lee and another night I reamt I was in a black 77 firebird I think (or was it a 70’s Camaro?) with some shourt haired huy I was sure was a secret agent or something and we were running from the cops or speeding to do a mission or comthing. All I know is I have a good imagination and when I dream of going fast in a throaty loud muscle car it is realistic and fun.  The night before last, though, I dreamt I found a hidden ship in a cave full of so much gold in the cargo hold it was a treasure richer than any save Scrooge MacDuck’s Money bin in Duck Tales.  It was insane how much gold bricks was there!!!!!  30 feet deep and several hundred feet long, a ship almost as big as a modern one. In it I was a knight in armour. And two other knights came into the ancient Greco Roman or Persian ship from the hole in its wooden hull and wanted to kill me to keep all the gold for themselves and so we fought. I looked for a Japanese swourd, but found a very nice medieval straight swourd instead and thought GOD had given it to me to fight with and called out: It is the Swourd of GOD!” and fought them in my very splendid armour. The scene changed around me and became the inside rooms and halls of a greystone castle.

                No doubt the castle at loch Ness Scotland I saw on Monster Quest on Hist. Chanel as well as the lecture I sat in on in the Cape Cod Geneological society’s meeting on the history of the Wampanoag given by an Apache Indian Histourian where one copper piece the Indians woure reminded me strongly of the armour wourn by the ancient knights and by Adrian Paul from highlander in Captain Drake’s immourtal voyage influenced this dream. Lastly I dreamt that I was on the outskirts of a town and someone, a man who looked homeless and dazed lie on the ground. I tried to communicate and awaken this man in a trance but to no avail. Suddenly where his sullen, thick gaze rested appeared a flame of fyre and it made a hole not only in the earth but in the dimensional barrier, or the fabric of spacetyme and of reality, if you like.  The fyre ran around the rim and the pourtal opened to no other place than a fiery pit, and I knew it was the abyss of hell itself. And out of this pit emerged a demon. Now I have dreamt of demons many tymes before, but  always possessing someone human and living in them as recourded in my previous journals. But here it appeared in a monstrous fourm looking like some twisted, freakish, many hourned mutated Triceratops. Something like ne would see in Ninja Gaiden, a game where you are a ninja and fight through monsters.  I knew it was a demon and now I am virtually certain it was a real demon in my dream trying to harass me and intimidate me. Was this a vision dream? I oftymes pray for them and get them from tyme to tyme and think this may be GOD telling me something.

                Anyways,  this demon emerged from hell in the fourm of this absolutely hourrid looking monstre and was looking at this man laying on the ground looking back at it completely hypnotized by its spell and mind control but I could sense this was only because he believed the beast. (Now I know what Daniel felt like, and Saint John the Revelatour!)  And it had complete control ovre him. Was this man a symbol of the world and its people, the people I have tried to awaken but to no avail? Probably. While the demon beast glared intently on the man and the man glazedly, dazedly, gazed back to my hourrour flame erupted out of the man’s stomach and spread gradually until he began to burn alive. It was like something out of a hourrour film and I was indeed hourrified and felt the emotion of fear. That, more than anything was what makes me believe I was seeing a real devil in my dream trying to attack my mind or something, or at least GOD giving me a view of the enemy. And I felt this evil presence and malignant aura and vibe coming from the demon, I really felt this very strongly and ovrewhelmingly and sensed a living spirit of TRUE malice and spite and the worst fourm of cruelty as though it were whatever devil possessed Nero, Vlad Dracul the Impaler or Himmler. But though this certainly made me feel intimidated, as my handwriting analysis reveals I am a logical person who has strong feelings but does not make my decisions by my emotions but by my reason and will. I just ignoured the feeling and tried to distract it and rescue the burning man or at least avenge him. I started rebuking the demon in the name of JESUS CHRIST and that got it’s attention and it looked at me with its nasty black eyes and I saw its black soul as I continued rebuking it. It contested wills with me and tried to resist whatever Spiritual power I was bringing to bear with my faith for JESUS Name has power but only strong faith can appropriate it. For a minute it looked unphased and unaffected and was slowly starting to approach me to devour me and it acted confident and superiour. My faith wavered for a moment that I was strong enough in the LORD and a good enough Christian with enough powre in GOD to defeat this thing and I though I might lose and be destroyed or dragged to hell with it. And I felt a wave of real fear but instead of buckling under the wave, I burst through it and became focused, angry in a controlled way, and I believe I drew out  a Tachi (long Japanese swourd) and threw my life away. It was very Samurai. Clearly reading Hagakure as a daily devotional and doing martial arts has impacted my psyche. I charged it to kill it knowing it felt more powerful than I and I felt too weak to beat it, I decided I would beat it anyways and ran straight at it, even though this was suicidal and felt just as crazy in the dream as it would in real life, I didn’t care if I lost and was destroyed I recklessly plunged into after the demon willing to die if need be but not to let it win without a fight.  This dream was so vivid and the feelings in it so strong that it is hard to relate with as much strength as it had. This was an intense dream!

                So, halfway to the demon I stopped and I think said, hey, wait a minute, this swourd is just metal, it can’t win against this demon! Only the Name of JESUS can prevail! And I called out to GOD to Please Help Me!!! And started rebuking the demon again and it tried to battle wills with me and with the NAME but I felt it will braeak and it stated being pushed back and retreating back into its hell hole.  I guess this gives new meaning to the olde phrase: “Go back to whatever hell-hole you crawled outta!”

                It gives prrof to what Tsunemoto said: “Dreams are truthful manifestations. When I occasionally have dreams of dying in battle or committing seppuku, if I

brace myself with courage, my frame of mind within the dream gradually changes.

This concerns the dream I had on the night of the twenty- seventh day of the fifth month.

If one were to say in a word what the condition of being a samurai is, its basis lies first in seriously devoting one's body and soul to his master…. I had a dream on the night of the twenty-eighth day of the twelfth month in the third year of Shotoku. The content of

the dream changed gradually to the extent that I strengthened my will. The condition of a person is revealed by his

dreams. It would be good to make companions of your dreams and to put forth effort.

                Wow, what a crazy dream. Also, I have taken up geneology of late. I have found out that of my ancestours, one was a Prussian/German immigrant Pvt in a Pennsylvania battalion in the revolution

and anothre was a 1st Lieutenant in the 67th Pennsylvania and Regimental Adjutant (assistant) to the Colonel of the regiment, helping with the details of the duties of the regiment. That’s a pretty high rank besides my othre ancestour on my Yankee fathre’s side who was a Colonel in the Rhode Island infantry. I still hope to see some Confederates in my ancestry being a country boy but am so very proud my family has been in Pennsylvania and fight for Pennsylvania for hundreds of years. Now to get back there and live in my home Country again! May GOD grant it but maybe he has made me a stranger and pilgrim in a strange land to alienate me from the world like Abram who dwelt in tents and the Israelites in the wilderness.

Who can know these things?

Psalm 90:12-
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 7: 4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

In the month of Octobre I am now 26 years of of age in my mourtal flesh as of half an month ago, and 11 of those years around now as I soon celebrate my Spiritual birtheday have been spent serving and seeking GOD. Sometymes it seems like a long tyme, even a century as i have learned many things from the hand of the LORD, and so much has transpired, but oftymes it feels like but a psaaing dream, a shourt space of an even shourter life. And around my birthedays, physical and metaphysical, I am blown away by the reality that I have now lived out a quartre of my life or more. If by some miracle the world or America does not collapse in my life and i am not martyred, which I have a real expectation of being some day, in all likelyhood, and ending my life early as Keith green did in an unepected plane crash which took everyone by surprise when he was just one year older than I am now, and If I live to an hundred, I have already gone through one fourth of it. And one tenth of it i have spent struggling to gorw into the full stature of a real servant of GOD who uses his shourt life to make an impact on othres for eternity.

Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Today I was sitting and waiting for an appointment. I heard some older women cackling on about the starlet on "All my children". As it is written:   Ec 7:6 -For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity (vanity is not just narcissium but to esteem worthlessness as great value). In observing them I think also of older professing Christians who give a verbal testimony of how they supposably gave their lives to the LORD and say such things as: "I have been serving GOD for 40 years now" or "GOD has shown me all this in the many years I have known Him" yet there is no heart in their words. They ramble on about the theology the memourised, they can speak of the atonement and recite verses of the BIBLE more than most, but they have no powre in their words. Real men of GOD who grow older like the late Leonard Ravenhill and David Wilkerson and Riedhead and Tozer speak with a passionate, heartrending authourity, a grave, sobre, temperate, matured, ripened gloury in their voice about GOD so when an old man speaks of serving GOD many years but their words, though recieved well and bragged on by othres around me who are living in nonoffensive we're all okay land will not admit what is so evident befoure the face of anyone honest:, these men have no GOD in their lives for those who know GOD know he is not a Doctrine but an onipotent SPIRIT and as Saint Paul said: 1 Corinthians 4:18-21   18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

And so when hearing these old women still gawking at the rich and famous people, following with interest the stars, handpicked by the godless elite and only famous for eithre pretending to be someone else than they are and specially for playing the part of someone who succeeds and prospers through sin and betrayal and abhominable courruption, which is what soap operas are, like immature schoolgirls, or in hearing olde men speak of GOD, their words as though they were seasoned men of GOD but their spirit and lives testifying that they know about, rathre than know GOD as Keith Green did more in 7 years from his salvation to his death than the do in a thousand thousand of their lifetymes at their current pace, not only in activity, but in content and quality, I think to myself: "GOD ALLMIGHTY forbid that I should grow so olde as they and not know GOD bettre and have moure of a measure of His evident grace on my life than they and that I should waste my youth and golden years and be so bereft of a deeper walk with GOD that leaves footprints on the histoury of my country and human race; Yea, GOD FORBID!! Woe is unto me if it should be so!"

Ge 47:9 - In Context | Read Chapter |
And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

You want to love with me, love with me then,
I only ask that you still be my friend,
For there are many who have friendship's I know,
They live together, but really alone.
And the days go their ways in silence,
Tense hours of woe,
We do not mean to have it so.
I know that sometimes I'm harder to love,
I thrash out blindly, like nothing's thought of,
So won't you help me to help you be sure,
God only knows that I want to be pure.
But the world keeps it promise daily, pulling me down,
But it can't hide what I have found.
So I will love you, and love you I do,
It's not complete yet, but you know we're not through
And the days go their ways in blessings,
Moments of truth,
We truly dare not waste our youth
You want to love with me, love with me then

Love With Me (Melody's Song) Lyrics by Keith Green

When I opened with the verse about the heart of fools being in the house of mirth, It was a strong statement most porofessing professing Christians ignoure and avoid because of the very prinsiple contained therein, that fools avoid thinking of unpleasant things because their own pleasure and entertainment is their only concern. Therefoure they waste through their shourt life on frivolity and when it is up befoure they know it they are standing there without anything to show for a wasted existence when eternity rolls around. These are who JESUS spake of when he described the five foolish virgins with no oil in their lamps (in Mathew 25 I believe) and the slothful wicked servant who buried his talent (literally a weight of treasure - his measure of revelation and SPIRIT from GOD-'We have this treasure in earthen vessels as Paul saith) in the ground and was cast out into darkness and gnashing of teeth and as that person who yes, does come to JESUS wedding suppre but is cast out into hell because he is not wearing the atire of a guest but of the world. Now, brethren, does not the BIBLE counsel us that love of the world is enmity against GOD, therefoure do not love the things that be in the world, "hating even the garment spotted by the flesh". I believe it was AW Tozer whose sermon I listend to last week (sometymes I mix his voice up with Paris Riedheads as they were both Alliance preachers and had come similarities of speech as the unschooled may have trouble telling Cantonese from Mandarin Chinese) but he said: "I haven't found Christianity to be fun, no. I've found it to be a fight, and a labour, and yes there's joy and peace and refreshing but its not a game." (paraphrased from memoury) Therfoure, reader, eithre you are wisely not doing this spending of life on frivolity and entertainment and you will take furthre admonishion to avoid such with joy and fear or you are and should cease without excusing, or evasion to the prosperity of your soul for Solomon had all mirth and sex and money and revenge and powre ovre the earth but he said: "Vanity. Worthlessness of worthlessness, it is all worthless trash!"

1 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. 2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. 3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. 5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth F1 to his place where he arose. 6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. 7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return F2 again. 8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. 11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after. 16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge. 17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit. 18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Also, in our sosiety the devil hath bewitched the minds of men. And as we are a nation of not only entertainment but of money and industry, the wourship of money and the things of our hands as well as the consolidation of powre by the moneyed elite who own the big fast food chaind most wourk or have wourked for we pretend wourking all the tyme, not rocking the Boat, not doing anything of signifigance or Spiritual value is protestant wourk ethic. Such people will love to say: "You're so heavenly minded you're no earthly good" or "get you head out of the clouds" and there are tymes in meeting people so mystically ethereal they need such a rebuke but usually its meant in a way that contradicts JESUS statements that: "Be anxious for nothing... The flesh profiteth nothing, but the spirit is life." To you i would say: "How is it your life is so wrapped around your job? don't know you're dying every day? don't you know your life is as a vapour or as the flowre of the field, it is here today and tommourow is cast into the oven?" Are ye not aware that you are wasting your life? Yes we need to wourk to live, but that is not life, its just the grease that lubricates its gears! And the BIBLE will collabourate with me on this to prove it as Solomon saith again. "

1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity. 2 I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it? 3 I sought in mine heart to give F4 myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life. 4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards: 5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits: 6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees: 7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born F5 in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me: 8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts. 9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me. 10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour. 11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun. ... 9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. ... 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God F11 might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. ...7 Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun. 8 There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail [this speaks of someone wourking all the tyme but nevre stopping to ask: "What am I wourking for? Why do I spend my hours in toil here, because there is a real profit GOD would approve of or for vanity? Wourk to live, my friends, don't live to wourk.]

Now, are you someone whose main goals, not by your admission of mouth but by your actions could be seen as one whose main goals are to be successful and to have a good tyme with your friends? Are these the 2 things your life is mainly spent doing? When you are with your friends is you conversation shallow and meaningless, always jesting but nevre absourbed with JESUS CHRIST?

1Co 2:2 - In Context | Read Chapter |For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Php 3:8 - In Context | Read Chapter |Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Here are some entries from Hagakure, the Booke of the Samurai that are enlightening on these things:

Every morning, the samurai of fifty or sixty years ago would bathe, shave their foreheads, put lotion in their hair, cut their fingernails and toenails rubbing them with pumice and then with wood sorrel, and without fail pay attention to their personal appearance . It goes without saying that their armor in general was kept free from rust, that it was dusted, shined, and arranged.
Although it seems that taking special care of one's appearance is similar to showiness, it is nothing akin to elegance. Even if you are aware that you may be struck down today and are firmly resolved to an inevitable death, if you are slain with an unseemly appearance, you will show your lack of previous resolve, will be despised by your enemy, and will appear unclean. For this reason it is said that both old and young should take care of their appearance.
Although you say that this is troublesome and time-consuming, a samurai's work is in such things. It is neither busy- work nor time-consuming. In constantly hardening one's resolution to die in battle, deliberately becoming as one already dead, and working at one's job and dealing with military affairs, there should be no shame. But when the time comes, a person will be shamed if he is not conscious of these things even in his dreams, and rather passes his days in self- interest and self-indulgence. And if he thinks that this is not shameful, and feels that nothing else matters as long as he is comfortable, then his dissipate and discourteous actions will be repeatedly regrettable.
The person without previous resolution to inevitable death makes certain that his death will be in bad form. But if one is resolved to death beforehand, in what way can he be despicable? One should be especially diligent in this con- cern.
Furthermore, during the last thirty years customs have changed; now when young samurai jeer together, if there is not just talk about money matters, loss and gain, secrets, clothing styles or matters of sex, there is no reason to gather together at all. Customs are going to pieces. One can say that formerly when a man reached the age of twenty or thirty, he did not carry despicable things in his heart, and thus neither did such words appear. If an elder unwittingly said something of that sort, he thought of it as a sort of injury. This new custom probably appears because people attach importance to being beautiful before society and to household finances. What things a person should be able to accomplish if he had no haughtiness concerning his place in society!
It is a wretched thing that the young men of today are so contriving and so proud of their material possessions. Men with contriving hearts are lacking in duty. Lacking in duty, they will have no self-respect.

In the Kamigata area they have a sort of tiered lunch box they use for a single day when flower viewing. Upon returning, they throw them away, trampling them underfoot. As might be expected, this is one of my recollections of the capital [Kyoto]. The end is important in all things.

While walking along the road together, Tsunetomo said, "Is not man like a well-operated puppet? It is a piece of dexterous workmanship that he can run, jump, leap, and even talk though there are no strings attached. Will we not be guests at next year's bon  Festival? [festival to honour those who are dead] This world is vanity indeed. People always forget this."

It was once said to one of the young lords that "right now'' is ''at that time, '' and ''at that time'' is ''right now.'' One will miss the occasion if he thinks that these two are different. For example, if one were called before the master to explain something right away, he would most likely be perplexed. This is proof that he understands the two to be different. If, however, a person makes "right now" and "at that time" one, though he will never be an advisor to the master, still he is a retainer, and in order to be able to say something clearly, whether it be in front of the master, the elders or even the shogun at Edo Castle, it should be practiced beforehand in the corner of one's bedroom.
All things are like this. Accordingly, one should inquire into things carefully. It is the same for martial training as for official business. When one attempts to concentrate things in this manner, won't daily negligence and today's lack of resolve be understood?

It is a good viewpoint to see the world as a dream. When you have something like a nightmare, you will wake up and tell yourself that it was only a dream. It is said that the world we live in is not a bit different from this.

People with intelligence will use it to fashion things both true and false and will try to push through whatever they want with their clever reasoning. This is injury from intelligence . Nothing you do will have effect if you do not use truth

Whether people be of high or low birth, rich or poor, old or young, enlightened or confused, they are all alike in that they will one day die. It is not that we don't know that we are going to die, but we grasp at straws. While knowing that we will die someday, we think that all the others will die before us and that we will be the last to go. Death seems a long way oft .
Is this not shallow thinking? It is worthless and is only a joke within a dream. It will not do to think in such a way and be negligent. insofar as death is always at one's door, one should make sufficient effort and act quickly."

Turn your eyes upon JESUS, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His gloury and Grace. So, in closing I should just like to say that life is shourt but it is also bigger than the little bit of stuff right in front of our nose. As negligense is an extreme thing (think 'follish virgins') it will not do to pass your days in earthly vanity. These thought came to me because as I heard tha wallflowers song,  http://www.tsrocks.com/w/wallflowers_texts/god_says_nothing_back.html It struck me in accourd with my usual thoughts on such thing around fall and my birthedays how life is truly shourt and i will dies befoure long as will you. If GOD is real and eternity is true than isn't it stupid to avoid the subject of death and live as though you will nevre die, consuming every liquid drop of tyme with thoughltess gluttony and excess? As men and women we are hapless creature suspended between heaven and hell and sandwiched between the eternities. All my life I have known my Grandma, closer than my mom, but soon she will die as well, being olde and full of age. Looking back on my years of owning cats, so many of my furry little buddies I used to have as a part of my life are dead. I was bourne and raised in Pennsylvania, now my life there is a distant memoury. When i was young my sole dream was to make a living with  my art, that dream was a long tyme ago. I am young yet I have been observant and studious or life and people enough to feel exactly how some said they felt aftre living through America's great Civil War: "I do not feel as though I were living in the country in which I was bourne."

As the leaves turn orange and fall from the trees (Hagakure, uncoincidentally means "Hidden undre the leaves") I am more and more aware of what a fleeting affair life is and that it will pass us all by sooner or latre. Since we are likely near a great depression, a national upheaval, or the tribulation of the end of the world, how much more should we take heed to our selves to: "give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. " and "Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. "

1 Corinthians 7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; 30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; 31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

In concluding the booke of Ecclesiastes, a booke frivolous people seldom like but wisened people love Solomon, King of Israel says Fearing GOD and keeping His commandments is the only impourtant thing in life. As i dwelt on these things I strongly felt, so strongly it was like a ton of bricks hitting me, that only JESUS mattres and only knowing GOD is wourth seeking in this shourt life. I must know GOD bettre ere I die and must help othres ere tis too late and deaths inky shadows and hells hills of flame roll ovre the souls of those foolish about me who know not the love of GOD and who "mind earthly things" like waves of the sea of damnation. I only wish more and more to have JESUS and if anything else, IN JESUS all in JESUS. Take the world but give me JESUS! He is so precious and only by getting deep into the prayer closet and the WORD will our lives not be lost in ruin and wastefulness! About you I know not, but I do not with to stand befoure JESUS CHRIST on That Day and be the slothful and wicked servant who did not value knowing him but only amusement and self gratification.

  "  It is a strange and wonderful and embarassing feeling to hold someone in your arms who is trying to detach you from the earth and you aren't good enough to follow her. ...
On the Big Blackfoot River above the mouth of Belmont Creek the banks are fringed by large Ponderosa pines. In the slanting sun of late afternoon the shadows of great branches reached from across the river, and the trees took the river in their arms. The shadows continued up the bank, until they included us.
     "... but you can love completely without complete understanding."
     Now nearly all those I loved and did not understand when I was young are dead, but I still reach out to them.
     Of course, now I am too old to be much of a fisherman, and now of course I usually fish the big waters alone, although some friends think I shouldn't. Like many fly fishermen in western Montana where the summer days are almost Arctic in length, I often do not start fishing until the cool of the evening. Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise.
     Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
     I am haunted by waters. "-Norman Maclain

Here is a poem Leonard ravenhill used to like to quote. He was alive when quoting it but now he is dead and already gone to be with The LORD. How long til we follow into eternity's gate? Do not be decieved, the main proclivity of life is the evidence of salvation or damnation. A life spent in self satisfaction, seeking yourself only whethre or not in blatant sins of commission or just in lazy negligense even as a moral churchgoing person espousing the doctrines and experience of Christianity is going to fulfil the parables of the buried talents and the virgins and John Baptists statement about the axe being laid to the root of every tree that beareth not good fruits which are without exception hewn down and cast into the fyre. But do not merely be roused to activities if you find yourself convicted by this but rathre seek GOD til he gives you the new heart or grows it out of which Knowing GOD and being effectively used by Him so glourify His Name and save souls flow as naturally as watre from a rivre.

Only One Life

Two little lines I heard one day, Traveling along life's busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart, And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one, Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in 'that day' my Lord to meet, And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice, Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave, And to God's holy will to cleave;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years, Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill, living for self or in His will;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore, When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way, Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep, In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e'er the strife, Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn, And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone, Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, "twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say,"Thy will be done";
And when at last I'll hear the call, I know I'll say "twas worth it all";

Only one life,'twill soon be past, Only what's done for Christ will last.

Che Guevara was a murderer and your t-shirt is not cool

The following are some comments I made on the facebooke group
Che Guevara was a murderer and your t-shirt is not cool

Communism is a lie and its so called ideals are but the deceptions (even self deceptions) and sophistry (a fancy word for good sounding hogwash) based justifications of anothre set of people who want to rule their fellow man for their own selfish self gratification of various baser lusts for powre, fame, wealth, and Nazism also started as the socialist party of Germany, if I remembre, which I am poretty sure I do. Stalin killed more Jews, Christians (me!), and all mannre of people from various noncriminal backgrounds (noncriminal meaning they nevre did real wrong deserving judgement, nor harmed their fellow man save being threats of the greed of those evil dictatours and bureaucrats) than Hitler, and Castro, Che's hombre and compadre had a little holocaust of his own. I have read a Christian Magazine called 'Voice of the Martyrs" detailing the arrests and persecution of people who believe simply in JESUS for that reason.
       The young people who suppourt this fellow are A:not free thinkers but brainwashed by a counterculture cult which is how Hitler got in himself, as Hitler said once in a speech: "When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."
The problem with both communists and young people is the same problem as the 6o's cultural revolution, they are young and self righteous, finding it easy to pick apart the faults in their parents generation which are often mostly too true, their lack of reason, ethics and ignourance of the laws of GOD and nature as well as ignoble motives deep down masquerading as sincere ideals on top even to themselves in their naive denial, make what they replace the percieved curruption with worse than what they claim to loath.

Communism = a worse solution to a bad problem, or, fighting the problems smaller doses of socialism causes by more socialism, or trading the tyranny of big business for the tyranny of big govt which is the biggest most exploitive and extourting business of all.
Anyone who wants to know a real countre culture politician to be proud of should be wearing a Thomas Jefferson shirt!
I know I've commented much but... Does America suppourt dictatours and terrourists (6 of 1, 1/2 dozen of othre) like Osama, the one before Castro, Mainland China's butchering govt, but that's just in the closet us acting like communists, it surely will not be changed by coming out of that closet! If you want to vote for liberty this year vote eithre Constitution party or Libertarian Party. The 1st is Christian, the second secular but both strongly advocate real liberty and not bthee tyranny that has infected even American govt. and is spreading which, when it gets so bad people really admit its there its already too late to reverse it.
